Do Ryanair charge for car seats?

I'm travelling to France with Ryanair and just wondering do you have to pay for bringing car seats - 2 seats 2 adults 2 children?
 
Check their site for rules on hand luggage. They charge for checked in luggage.
 
I think so. It may be more convenient and may be cheaper to get car seats when you rent the car. I think some car rental companies provide them for free if you tell them in advance.
 
each car seat is charged as far as I know as checked in luggage, however they allow a buggy free of charge...figure that out???

I think the cheapest option is to put both car seats in your luggage if they are the booster type, otherwise just rent them over there
 
Remember that multiple items of checked baggage cannot be added together within a single 15KG limit.

Each passenger can pay for up to 5 checked bags. The total checked allowance is 15KG irrespective of the number of bags.
 
Sorry - the "no splitting checked baggage allowance" rule must be with another airline. Or else I was confusing it with [broken link removed]:
Passengers may not use the unused checked baggage allowance of other passengers. No pooling/sharing of the checked baggage allowance is permitted, even within a party travelling on the same Confirmation Number.

By the way 5 bags coming in at or under 15KG will be charged separate baggage fees.
 
ryanair would charge you for using their toilets if they could !? - it is now £10 sterling to check in one suitcase !

So do many low cost and short haul airlines - so what? Those who don't require certain services save - those who do pay. Better than charging everybody regardless in my opinion.

€6/GPB£5 if you pay in advance online.
 
clubman, booked flights from stansted to dublin a few days ago to go in august and yes it said £10 sterling online ?
just checked it now and it says £10 ?
 
You must have booked through the call centre and not online - in that case the full charge applies.

sorry, i see it is £5 each way, my mistake. this is the first time in ages for us to actually check in luggage. we normally have a small wheelie case for each of us that we take on board and pay nothing for. taking a big case this time because posh wedding clothes to take for wedding in n.ireland.
