Rossecourt where?

Hi,
I am interested in getting an affordable apartment in Lucan, Rossecourt but I can't locate it on the map.
I would like to visit the area, anyone knows about it?
How good/bad is this area?

Any information is more than welcome.

It is beside Balgaddy (Foxdene) and near to Foxborough and opposite Earlsfort Lucan.

If you are heading down the fonthill road from say, Clondalkin, once you go through the roundabout at Sean Kavanaghs Garage, go into the left hand land and turn left at the next set of lights. At the end of Foxdene Estate, there is a rounabout and once you go straight through it Rosse Court is all along there on the left hand side, more or less opposite Earlsfort.

There are new Council/Corporation built properties (they look like they were built with Lego) built backing onto these apartments and these have quite a rough name.

Rosse Court itself looks like a massive development and I would see a lot of these apartments being rented out to Eastern Health Board tenants.

Well I dunno about that. The brochure described then as being luxurious modern apartments, desirable to investors amd owner occupiers alike. What more could you want?

Have you looked at Hansted? Seems like a good development.At the other end of Lucan and opposite Adamstown. A friend has just bought a 3 bed duplex there (second hand).

Ross court.... Any problems????

I'm enquiring about any problems that may occur on the grounds of this estate due to the fact that it is so close to Bungladdy, my friend is about to buy an apartment there and is very concerned with the previous comments? can people tell me.... is it really bad??
 
Rossecourt is actually a very nice complex. I have a family member living there and is very happy. It is very quiet, very well maintained, gardens beautifully landscaped and well kept. You do get the odd bit of stealing, or breaking into cars, but that can happen anywhere. The building is of a good standard and the foreman on site is very helpful with any problems that arise. Just to let you know i have been in a few of the Apartments they are nice, my friend got a really big one huge balcony and very large bathroom.That is very scarce with new apartments.The area is ok i have a 4 bed house rented out in Foxborough and i use to live there.I would buy one is rosses court dont be put of by people telling you not to.its on a good bus route near liffey valley and if you did wamt to rent it , it would not be a problem.Look at halting site that was built nbeside luxury house in lucan the house still command crazy prices.they are called larkfield.Another option is citywest the luas is proposed for the area for around 2009.Best of luck in getting your new home

Do you rent the property in Foxborough or do you own it and rent it out to other people?

If you look at my mail i use to live in Foxborough i now have it rented out and i get around €1350 for it.It was my first house i got about 10 years ago.

Yes i know i posted this query on behalf of my friend i just wanted to be sure that she had to pay the stamp duty.I was fairly certian she did but just posted it to see what feedback i would get.
