must say the document itself is a real laugh.check out the utility room conversion.

What's so funny about it? Presumably you box in the equipment once installed?

well drilling a hole in the counter and running a pipe through it is funny and the point on page 4 about the oil burner hanging from a hook under the counter is really funny!!

I wonder will they stand over the "These solutions will significantly increase the value of your house" claim!

I still don't get it. Oh well...

I'm slow to knock an Irish company that is trying to make a go of it. I hope they do well.
Anyway, I also don't see what's funny.

Hi, I would like to know if anyone has installed such a boiler from surfacepower, i have just bought a second hand house which has oil and solid heating but would like to get away from oil this seems quite a simple solution, or should i look at a totally new wpb

Ah common, ClubMan, It is funny!
Imagine having this big pipe in your already limited workspace in the kitchen (as illustrated)

Plus with all the hunks and babes and happy family having showers and baths. As if you couldn't have a shower with the oil burner...

I was looking at purchasing this unit for my boiler in my garage. It would be cheaper to buy a new pellet boiler, when the grant is taken into account. This unit costs €3500 including vat and delivery and there is no grant available for it as advised by surfacepower.

Thanks ruffmut, if i got a totally new wpb would this mean i would be able to keep my existing oil burner as a back up just not have it turned on.

..why not contact surface power & ask them how many of these they have installed- if it is as successful as they state then they will surely put you in contact with the users directly.

I would be slow to knock it also. Surface Power look to be a reputable company (expensive on some of their offerings etc).
