I am looking for a new DIgital Camera i have always used Olympus, i guess im looking for a 6-7 megapixel slim easy to use and high quality pictures and a good zoom, what would you recommend ?
Check out the Canon range for compacts or SLRs - I have always found them good (good optics, firmware/user interface, features and host software) and they use SD cards which are generally cheaper than XD cards. Search the site for lots of other threads discussing digital cameras and check out some of the excellent review sites mentioned (e.g. www.dpreview.com etc.) before making a buying decision.
7dayshop.com are worth checking for occasional special offers, including at the moment this PowerShot A550 for £111 (€170-ish?) delivered. They're also very good value for memory cards of any format, and they charge a flat £3.95 for shipping.
Alternatively, if you're near a branch of Aldi, special offer may be of interest. It's better spec on paper, but obviously doesn't have Canon's 'brand rep' going for it. Then again, a three-year warranty is not to be sniffed at...
You should also check out www.technikdirekt.de which I've used before and was also told about these guys the other day which may be even cheaper http://www.calumetphoto.com/ but have never used them so dunno if they are any good
