A friend of mine has just won a focus freedom(most basic model). When he rang the car company they said he could get a cash deal of 16.8k or keep the car worth 20.4k. With a new baby having just arrived, he's looking into his options. I suggested he keep or update the focus and he likes the idea of the C-MAX. Anyone with any opionion's or experiences with the focus or c-max??? All suggestions welcome..

Focus is a great car as is the C-Max. RS2K can give more indepth views on the C-Max.

I wouldn't keep the freedom though if it's more basic than the LX. Especially if in 1.4 guise.

Ok firstly Foci are fine motors. I've owned 9 of them! (Ford Employees scheme).

4 x 3 door hatches (including an ST), 1 x 5 door hatch, 1 station wagon/ estate and 3 x C-Max.

C-Max are good for families. Quite good to drive too. Zetec trim level is essential. 1.6 petrol and diesel are both good. Car just facelifted.

An unwanted prize won't get much/any more than the €16.8k mentioned. I think it's treated as 2nd hand technically.

Hope this helps.
