Reasonably priced parking in city centre?

I live in suburban dublin and I'm working in the city centre (D2). My employer doesn't have a staff car park. Not an issue most days cause I cycle. But on the days that I need to bring the car with me (e.g. fridays if I'm heading down the country), I resent having to pay 25+ EUR for a work day (8-5) of parking in Stephens Green, Surgeons, Dawson St city centre carkparks.

Anybody know of a lower cost alternative? Preferably D2 but D1 also of interest...

Many thanks

Not in the ideal location for you but I think the Jervis St car park charge about a tenner for all day parking.
Opens about 7am if my memory serves me correctly.

Jervis is a tenner for a day; Gresham is €16; Parnell do multiple entry ticket that works out about €8 an entry.

Is there a place you could get free parking on the route you would need to take out of the city? I leave my car in Phibsboro and get the bus in the rest of the way

Ah, so it's you that takes my spot outside the sister-in-laws

Actually today I couldn't resist staying in my nice dry warm car and am parked in the Irish Life Centre! And I'm on holidays tomorrow so you can have the spot back! Actually a mate of mine used to park in Donnybrook but gave up after 4 slow punctures (different tyres but in the same week)

What do you do all day in the car?

Accidental or suspected vandalism?

Very funny - although I do see how it read.

The tyres must have been caused by a neighbour not being too happy at the free parking outside their place - there was a small hole in each tyre but no nail left behind etc as you would normally expect.

Just curious Clubman and don't take this the wrong way, but do you document instruction manuals for a living as your attention to detail is to be applauded?
