One number two phones

Hi
Ok i have a good one. I am looking to have two sim card and two mobile phones both with the same number.One would be ready to go and the other bill pay. The reason i am looking for this is one for my hands free kit in the car and the other one for work.It is just to much work having to numbers.I rang nokia and they said this is not possable.So maybe i have answered my own question.

Am I missing something? why not have one phone, put it in the car kit when in the car & in your pocket otherwise.

The reason i want two phones is that ,the phone for my car kit is crap but it is fine for the car.The other phone is for day to day use. I did not think this would be a problem as one bill pay and the other pay as you go

Why not use one phone, one billing, get a new car kit and an itemised bill that you can split the cost of the calls. If thats too much hassle, just carray a 2nd phone.
