Im in such a need of a rant. Im so sick of parents running across roads with kids hanging of either hands trying to get to their cars.

What really makes my blood boil is that there is a pedestrian crossing no more than 2/3metres away from where there crossing.

Today a mum, and 2kids came out of nowhere and the car in front of me jammed on really hard. My heart was in my mouth.

Have the mothers/fathers of these kids no cop on? Would it not be better to teach your kids how to cross and where to cross the road safely instead of putting there lives at risk.

I cross the Amiens Street at the lights at the bottom of Talbot Street every evening. A significant amount of pedestrians, motorists and cyclists pay little attention to the lights.

I really hate that. They don't even put the buggy out first to "test" the traffic anymore either.
typically Irish - you are driving so you are responsible for not hitting me or my kids.....

Agreed. Another black spot is the crossing at the bottom of Eden Quay at the rail bridge. I seem to get disproportionately incensed at having to weave through cars stopped on the pedestrian crossing. Quite a few break the lights crossing across the river as well.
