Digital Radios (DAB) for the Home (& Car)

Seeing that RTE is gone (in Dublin only?) and digitised it's four stations and a few newbies, I'd like to get / get looking at DAB. Gone are the days of flaky FM coverage - hopefully.

- Where is the best place to buy (on-line) for the Home
-Can you get models for the Car?

Gone are the days of flaky FM coverage - hopefully.

And now we have flaky digital coverage instead. While there might not be any hiss, DAB can be quite 'mushy' at times, especially if the signal is not 90%.

The main reason for DAB is to allow for more stations, not better quality.

I saw some nice DAB midi systems in Peats.

Lidl have a nice world radio here But i don't know if it's digital.

Don't think it is - I think it's just FM, MW and SW. Similar to the one I bought in Aldi last week but with better features for the same price. So I'll be bringing it back (unused) for a refund and getting the Lidl one instead.

Hmmm. Is that a legitimate reason for a return? Surely Aldi doesn't guarantee that its products are more fully featured than Lidl's?
