Neighbour's disgusting rubbish

So annoyed about this. One of our neighbours obviously forgot to put a tag on their bin when it was out for collection last saturday, the bin wasn't collected and they've just left it sitting there overflowing with stuff and blocking a parking space. The unbagged nappies that were in it are now on the ground around the bin because of the birds that are picking at the stuff in the open bin. This morning I had to remove a sh*t covered tissue from my driveway, its absolutely disgusting. What are these people like?! For people that have children themselves do they not see the health risk of leaving stuff like this around where kids are playing? Not to mention the lack of consideration for their neighbours by blocking parking spaces and assuming its acceptable to leave this sort of crap (literally) lying around. So irritating that I have to confront them about it and that there now has to be an issue with a neighbour when we're reasonably new in the area. I'm tempted just to call the litter warden or environmental health officer and let them sort it out. Will try speaking to them first though. Not sure it'll do any good though, they obviously don't see that theres a problem.

I would not hesitate to contact the local authority about this. At least that way, they wont know who complained and as you say, if they haven't cleaned it up by now, they aren't going to.

Ah I'll do the decent thing and knock on the door first. Maybe they didn't notice it all those times they'd have driven past it.

As happens a lot these days they might well have put a tag on their bin and it was stolen, so bin not collected. Most people want a lie in on Saturday morning so put bin with tag out on Friday night.

They are probably staging their protest at everyone else's expense.
