A guy at work was stopped near Naas Road and 'caught' for above at c. 18.30pm on weekday evening. He brought letters re. fixed penalty stuff he has to pay and also send back with driving licence details.

Anything he can do? or just get over it!

Anything he can about what? Is he denying that he was driving without a seatbelt and in the bus lane - both of which carry penalty point punishments?

I believe driving in the bus lane is only a fine where-as driving without seatbelt is a fine and points : [broken link removed]

he could stop driving without his seatbelt (who does that these days?!) and not drive in the bus lane like everyone else.

God bless.

Going on the information from a previous thread, penalty points can be (and are) given out for driving in bus lanes (covered under other areas not specifically stating driving in a bus lane).
