Which is better kerosene or green diesel for OFCH?

Wondering what's the difference between kerosene & green diesel ? Which is better to use in oil fired central heating ???

horses for courses really, the burner needs to be modified to burn whatever you decide, however if you intend to burn home heating oil (green diesel) as opposed to kerosene, you need a proper flue, a balanced flue won't work. (well it will work but will leave soot stains on your wall above the balanced flue)

Kerosene burns cleaner so incresed boiler efficiency, diesel wears the jet much quicker than kerosene.

and as it's an Agri Fuel (ie, subsidised), Green Diesel is probably illegal to use in anything apart from Agricultural machinery....

i think green diesel is just banned for road vehicles. On the road you must use DERV (diesel engine road vehicle)
