Hi,

My mom and her friends are heading to Spain for a wedding in Sep they are flying into Malaga and they want to stay in torremolinos for 4 days. Anyone recommend a website for apartments, do they rent apartments out like that for 4 days??
thanks for the help!

stay in benalmedena and just get the bus or train to torremolinos which unless it has changed since I was last there is not a very nice place, especially at night.

When I was in Torremolinos last March it was a very nice place. Hopefully it still will be in June whrn I go again.

[broken link removed] They have a few aparthotels available in Torremolinos, priced in sterling, you will need to do conversion. Also try www.booking.com they have an excellent map of hotel locations.

You could also try alpharooms.com whic I regularly use.

I would personally recommend the Son Don Perro, Sol Don Pablo and Sol Don Marco, which are together in the Bajondillo area accross the road from the beach. You can use the facilities of all three.

Its a quiet area but still close to the town centre. You should check tripadvisor.com for information on all hotels and the area in general.

Is that near the Bajondilla hotel? my mom stayed there before and wanted to go there but it was all booked up?

Yes it is just a short walk up the promenade in the direction of Torremolinos town. At the back of the Bajondillo Hotel ( Apartments?) there are steps that bring you up to San Miguel street in the centre of town. Plenty of shopping along the steps, but not for people with walking difficulties.

There is also a lift that can bring you up to the centre and then take the easier option of walking down the steps.

The Sol hotels I mentioned earlier are very nice especially the Marco and Pablo. The food there is very good as well.

Have a look at holiday-rentals. You can check availability for your chosen accomodation online and e-mail the owners to see if they will do 4 day stays.

I know someone who has a lovely 1 bed apartment wit a sea view at the top of the steps to the beach 5 mins from the town centre and 5 mins from the beach and Bajondilla hotel, and think she might be interested in renting it for 4 days in Sept but that depends how many are looking ? mom and friends sounds like a lot of people
