Asia Or Asia & NZ for NY

ok trying to think of holidays. Have only 3 more continents to visit South America, Asia and Antartica
Thinking of going to Asia this year on Stephens Day and travel around for 3 weeks.Also looking at the option of going there and flying home from NZ
I know Asia is cheaper so thats looking the better option. What countries are the best to visit. For such a short stay it may be a case of visiting the main cities although we would hope to get out of these during it.
What would be the best city/ place to stay in Asia for New Years Eve?
South America maybe next time as I believe you can get a trip to Antartica from Argentina

If you've only got 3 weeks leave out NZ ... NZ is a 10+ hour flight from the main Asian cities and is a destination worthy of 3 weeks (at least) in it's own right ... trying to do a whistlestop tour of Asia and NZ within 3 weeks would be crazy I think.

Did not think the flight was that long to NZ....so will leave it at Asia maybe
