Hi,
I am possibly looking at taking a contract position in Galway city for six months. What I see and read about the cryptosporidia outbreak is horrific.
How are people coping?
Should I re-consider?
How easy is it to get clean water?
Is the County Council providing tankers or do you have to buy expensive volumes of bottled water for brushing teeth?
Are there queues in shops and shortages for safe water?
Have people stopped using restaurants?
Is the ice in pubs safe?
Do I have to close my mouth when showering etc etc etc?
Is there an official website showing affected areas?
I am thinking now that perhaps I should rent somewhere like Castlebar and commute as it is clear and I would be working on the west-side of the city.
Thanks for any first-hand experiences...
