Friday Flight to USA

Hi,

With the new web facility to check in on line for a 2.30 flight to usa with Aer Lingus and driving from Dundalk at 11.30, to park in the long term car park or even Bewleys hotel would I be able to make my flight on time, or am I completely living in a land of no traffic delays and wishful thinking. Thanks !!!!!!

I presume you are travelling with luggages. Benefit of online booking is somehow lost as you will still have to go to check-in desks to drop your bags.

Yes I would be travelling with luggage, and I have realised that its completely ridiculous thought/idea that I had !!!!

Have you seen the M50 recently??? Allow enough time as you will loose all money paid if it is your fault you miss the flight. Also kids are on hols so lots more people in immigration Que

You'll just be taking the M1 all the way - it should not take you more than 40 minutes from Dundalk. Do you have to drive and park? You could take public transport - see ([broken link removed]

I wouldn't take the risk. It would be an expensive lesson to learn. Plus, US immigration queues and security queues have gotten really long lately. It's taken me 50 mins to clear security on a Friday and 45 mins in the immigration queue.
