Do i need a phoneline to get multiroom viewing with sky - cant find any answer on the website?

I only have sky FTA. Two cables coming out of the sky dish. one goes directly into the sitting room. the cable from the aerials (already combined into one cable on the roof) and the 2nd cable from the dish go into the sky box which is in the attic. one cable out of the sky box and into the living room. into the vcr and from the vcr to a splitter box. from the splitter box one to the telly and one back up to the attic and into a distribution box. from the distribution box to the sitting room and 3 bedrooms. in the sitting room a 2nd ( not sky) satellite box.
result is sitting room can watch any sky FTA without disrupting anyone else's viewing. bedrooms can only watch what the sky box in the attic is set to. there is a little 'magic eye' thingy in the living room which changes the channels. anyone can watch terresterial tv from any of the tellys and because it's the vcr feeding the distribution box anyone can also watch videos on any telly. this setup mighn't suit everybody and if I change to the sky+ box in the future this setup wont work. but for now its fine. phone lines dont have anything to do with this setup anyway.

For multiroom viewing yes you do need a phoneline to get the multiroom cost. The boxes do callbacks....if they cannot ring back it cannot be proved they are at the same address....you will get a few warnign letters from Sky and then if boxes still not calling they will charge you 2 subscriptions for each box.

the others that say no are wrong - sky do perform dialbacks to the boxes regularly and according to their T&C's they will charge you seperate subscriptions if you do not have all boxes connected to the same phone line - i know - i got these letters with a final warning that if i did not have both boxes active by end of march i would be charged for 2 subscriptions instead of the multi room sub.

And this is after the sky installer told me not to bother with a phone line to the second box !
