Microsoft Works Calendar: Print has shrunk on page!

Apologies if this query shows up my severe lack of tech know-how.

Every month I print off a page from Microsoft Works Calendar - for notes, etc. I use the full month version.
All went well until recently. Now when I print off a page, the actual calendar part is much smaller on the (A4) page than it used to be, so much so that it is no longer fit for purpose.
I've messed around with the "zoom" feature on the "print" interface thingy but it doesn't seem to alter the size of the printed version.
Everything else I print seems to be the correct size.

Can anyone head me in the right direction to rectify the problem? I would be really grateful.

Have you gone to "File" & then "Print" or press "Ctrl&P"

Then select the monthly style on the calendar. Click on "Page Setup" and in the "format" tab ensure that the text size is legible, i.e. larger than 8pt.....

On the "paper" tab, ensure that you have set the page as A4 or whatever format paper you are using in your printer.

Thanks for taking the time, mo3art.

All of the things you suggest, I have tried but to no avail.
I'll keep trying things and hope I stumble on something that cures the problem.
It can't be THAT difficult to fix!

I don't know what's doing it but something similar happened to a team member of mine last week. There was a problem with his default page settings in the ACTUAL printer settings - not in any application, but in the printers folder itself.
Sorry if it's hard to understand but check your printer folder in settings and the printer settings themselves.

The second sentence suggests the problem doesn't lie with your printer settings — I presume you mean that it handles Word documents, pages from the internet, etc. without this happening? However, in MS Works, try checking not the zoom settings but the paper size — probably US letter size by default, rather than A4.

I had a similar problem but with a different application (groupwise) when printing page-a-day diary pages.
I had inadvertently set the paper size to "Franklin" which is a kind of filofax type thing.
