Hi,
does anyone know of any good aution rooms?

my boss told me he sold a table worth €500 for €70, to his disappointment, at an auction.

so i'm thinking i might be able to get quality second hand furniture at an affordable price at some auction somewhere..........

thanks

Re: funiture autcions

thanks for that!

I'm not looking for antique furniture so any household furniture autions would be ideal.....cheers

Buckleys in Glasthule have an auction every Thursday, of the 'everything must go' variety. They are in the phone book.

Does it have to be an auction?

I've recently discovered a new company and have bought loads of stuff from them its a company called Universal Building Products (they are just off the Rosslare roundabout in Wexford)

They bring in tools and furniture from Poland all top quality stuff, if you drop in and go through the catelogues pick out what you want and you will have it in 3 to 4 weeks. The prices are only AMAZING!

I got a flat-pack kitchen including sink and countertop for under 650 and furniture equivalent to IKEA for a lot cheaper than Ikea will ever sell for.

I found them through a friend who buys all his hand tools and stuff there.

They also sell glass block and stone cladding

(Unfortunately they don't have the furniture on-line yet)

Just another option, enjoy :)

Cheers for that Fintan.

do you know how long it usually takes to deliver items?

do you know of any web site that displays the furniture for sale?

thanks

Delivery takes 4 weeks, and they don't have the furniture on-line yet.

If your looking to save money it may be worth the trip to have a look?

The contact details / address / directions are all on the contact page www.glassblocks.ie
