The regulations allow for shaver type outlets in bathrooms provided they are fitted with an isolating transformer. Using a hair dryer or other electrical appliance in a bathroom which is not isolated really isn't a good idea.

So it's a good thing the hair dryer only makes it to the door way and no further into the room!

Our bathroom mirror doesn't steam up provided we use the extractor fan.
