Travelodge in UK

have been looking at prices at the travel lodge at London city airport, I am having problems with their site so phoned for a price. I got an automated voice (like eircom when you try to report a fault) which quoted me £49 per night which is great as all other web sites ie- Expedia etc are quoting £60.

Has anyone booked using this type of system? I have booked by phone before but always get a human to deal with.
 
Use the web-site......I have never had any problems.....it may just have been busyy.
 
Travelodge is fine, bed, tv, bathroom, all you need without the frills.

I booked through www.superbreak.com with no problems. I have also boked online directly with them, and had to cancel my stay, which I also did online and got a full refund. They are quite reliable.

still had problems with web site(might be my dial up) message was page can not be displayed so booked through superbreak site no problems
