"If you overtake the last person, then you are...?......"

I hate to be pedantic (ok, I don't really) but this question actually has no correct answer.

hence the 'Tell me, how can you overtake the LAST Person?' presumably

If the race is on a track, then when you overtake the last person, it must mean you have lapped them, but this still says nothing about what position you are in. You might be in first or second last place or anything in between.

Or you might have been slow to start.

"a blind man comes into the shop who wants to buy a pair of sunglasses"

Why would a blind person need sunglasses?

Why would anyone call Mary Nunu?

If you overtake the last person, by lapping them, as someone correctly pointed out, you are first, assuming that you are the first to overtake them. There are of course several correct answers, depending on the number of persons in the race. It is possible that everyone could overtake the last person if her name is Sonia O'Sullivan.

overtaking and lapping are 2 different things. overtaking is for position, lapping is passing a backmarker and is not for position.

"a blind man comes into the shop who wants to buy a pair of sunglasses"

Why would a blind person need sunglasses?

the same reason you see non visually impaired people wearing them inside...

as the bbc commentator ( murray walker?) on grand prix once said ' and after that overtaking manouvre mansell is now in front - if you dont count the race leader. maybe he set the questions for this quiz :)
