What do AAM users think of some of the breaking news at Consumer Electronics Show 2007?

Some good sites covering it:

Plenty of [broken link removed] and integration between Internet and TV.

Plenty of news on the camps. Should be interesting when the PS3 launches in Europe in March.

Over at MacWorld, the eagerly awaited iPhone looks great and is sure to be a huge hit. The Apple TV (formerly called the i.TV) also sounds interesting - would be even better if it supported DIVX/XVID, though.

2007 is looking to be an interesting year for new technology!

Cicso patented the "iPhone" name back in 2000 and now they have filed a lawsuit against Apple about this.

Go On Cisco !

Yes - see here and search Google news for the latest on the Cisco/Apple "discussions" and lawsuit.

There does seem to be some anti-Apple sentiment about Apple's attempts to gain the name from Cisco; Apple have been particularly arrogant in suing people for infringing on Apple names such as iAnything.

Still, all the publicity can only help the product. If they rename it to Apple Phone it will still sell well.

I think it looks cool but am not convinced it will be such a huge hit in Europe because it has no keyboard and we do so love SMS over here.

Also, no 3G (in the initial version anyway) will put some people off.

Still, there is bound to be a big market for it in people looking that were previously for an easy-to-use phone and an iPod nano - why not buy one device?
