car loans, cheap deals sought in Ireland

I hope to buy a car in 2007 , an upgrade , but not necessarily a new one.
My current car is a BMW 01 D touring with 100000 miles on the clock . diesel.

Ideally, I would like to put it up for sale while still driving it, through using a reputable dealer. The BMW 320d is a marvellous car and I would like to get a newer version in 07.

As I am on a budget, I would like to spend not more than €350-400 euro per month on it. So, the question is, where to source such monies and what principal amount would I get based on repayments of 350-400 euro per month. I reckon my trade in value would be of the order of €15k.

Thanks/Buíochas for any comments or advice!

Are you a member of a Credit Union? They have car loans at around 7.25%. I would say it is the best rate around for a car loan.

Most ( all ?) of the mainstream financial instutions offering car finance have online calculators such as [broken link removed], [broken link removed], or [broken link removed] just to give a few examples. Shop around.

Thanks for that, very useful information. Bilkosboy.
