Just received my American Express Blue card (issued by BOI) and it appears that it is not possible to view the card statements online via Banking 365! I went to www.americanexpress.com trying to register there, but the system doesn't let me register the card. Has anybody had this problem? Is this possible at all have access to your AmEx card account online?

Thanks!

No - not according to BOI, there is no online access.

They did say at one time that this was under review, but as they no longer act for the Amex Charge Card, I doubt if it'll ever happen.

I have a corporate AMEX and can view my statements via this link. Had to ring to ring AMEX to arrange it. Don't know if it works for personal cards.

The corporate Amex is a completely different beast to the Blue American express that BOI offered. I've had both and never had online access through BOI. I did try to get online access but no go.
They will email you statements (or partial statements) on request, I've found this quite useful when abroad.

Just called Amex Online Help Desk in the UK. Actually, quite a nice friendly service (unlike these BOI Card Services people who just say "We don't do it, that's it, anything else I can do for you? No? Bye!"). The guy from Amex called BOI, then some other croud in the UK and unfortunately online registration is not working with BOI. They promissed to fix this about two years ago, but it's still under development. Basically, it's up tro BOI to provide with AmEx online service that they don't bother doing for years.

Sorry was just looking into this card recently and was wondering if there is a charge for these statements? Can you get your purchase info over the phone? And finally is it just BOI deals with American express or are there other banks in Ireland that do?

Any other catches with this card? Sorry if anyone feels I went off subject a bit or anything.

Any info much appreciated.
