sky television - do I need new TV

Hi

we are getting a sky package for our new house, I think it's digibox - not sure, I was just wondering do we need to have a good TV for this? - the reason I ask is that we have a fairly old television at the moment and as we have just bought our house we have more important things to buy than a new TV. The TV we have is probably about ten years old - we don't have a remote for it and previously operated it though the video.

Your TV would need to have a Scart connection. However you could get around this by using the Scart socket of the VCR. Crude but it will probably work.

I think it does have a scart connection - so I might be in luck! cheers hansov
