Re: Corks most beautiful building

from Wiktionary: "One suggestion is that a regiment of Munster Fusiliers were stationed in the Langur Province of India, where local Langur monkeys, which were considered by the natives to be sacred and untouchable, were often responsible for the theft of army supplies.
These howler monkeys were loud and intrusive and their name adopted into local Cork slang—specifically in Cork City."

Well travelled, those Cork men.

AIB on South Mall is a beautiful building.
Also the Quad in UCC.
Cashes aka BT on Patrick St.
Cork Harbour Commissioners building. The courthouse.
There used to be a lovely red bricked building (a pub) near Cafe Paradiso on lancaster quay/western road.........where does one end and the other begin?
