One thing to be aware of is that you can't transfer your old pc software onto it so you'd have to buy the programs in mac version. However, you can buy Microsoft office etc. .

I've never met anyone who regretted buying a Mac.
eurofan..pity u are not a fan.. these are great machines and the kids especially find them easy to use..again,especially for the internet and iphoto
