our old friend mac used to speil on and on about the difference in aer lingus and ryanair. not much difference now. wasn't bertie and the boys a bit silly not to give willie walsh his head a few years ago and privatise half the airline then? one thing is almost certain, if he had done that then, michael wouldn't haven't gotten a/l for half nothing today.

I thought it was ironic that the people who benefited more that most from O'Learys generous offer were the cute hoor pilots who applied for was it €20 million in shares at the float?

That gob****e Halpenny from SIPTU was rabitting on at Willie O'Dea today for the govt selling when it shouldn't have. What he seemed to forget was that it was the existing AND previous mgt of Aer O'Lingus that wanted the float.

Obviously quite a few of the staff were up for it too - especially IALPA.

As a matter of interest where did my old adversary go - the AL pilot guy?
