A male friend from work is taking his new found love out on 3rd night together tomorrow night in Dublin. Any ideas of where they could go/ do for a special evening. They will be in Dublin from around 6pm.

Gotta be careful on this one, this is the third date & as such could set the bar for future dates / relationship maintenance levels longterm, I'd go with Slattery's on Capel street, then again that might be pushing the boat out ! ;P

ah, the windjammer. Thats the one.

"what dyou mean you dont want to buy an phoblacht?"

Someone text in to off the ball last week that the American ryder cup WAGs were in there on their night out. Had to laugh.

For all I know it could be a Feng Shui minimalist espresso sushi bar these days!

Haven't been inside lately, but pass by it most days and the appearance of the clientele smoking/chatting in the doorway would not lead me to think so.

I wouldn't go too formal on a 3rd date... Maybe a casual bite to eat ... Little Caesers or the like, and a few drinks to follow. A good chance to chat and get to know each other a bit better.

Isnt everywhere? :D

Ah seriously, 3rd date is make the date a dinner in the house/aprtment. No pad of your own, then maybe catch a comedy show somewhere with light food, that way theyll get a laugh at least which always guarantees a good feeling. I wouldnt go for the heavy dinner thing if theyve done that already.

I think we should start a campaign to bring back piggy. There were a couple of good dust-ups back then too and plenty of mention of a certain airline beginning with "r". :) I don't know what it's come to when the vast majority of posts are finance-related and civil to boot.

Re the 3rd date: depending on how mainstream/quirky these two are, I think showing a bit of your true colours might be in order. So if he's into football/music/history/art/whatever, why not a match, a gig or something for a change from the whole eating and drinking routine.
