Best way to travel from Dublin to Dundee

Hi,
Would anyone know the best/quickest way to get to Dundee
What would be the nearest airport

Probably edinburgh airport and then train up to dundee.
Another option would be fly to aberdeen and train but that would be longer I'd imagine and flights not as frequent.
 
Best way ? Fly to London on an evening flight, tube to Euston and get the sleeper direct to Dundee. Arrive early (possibly too early at 0609) the next morning. If you get the right deal the train fare including bed & breakfast could be only £19. Afternoon flights to London tend to be cheaper than the peak morning & evening ones.

Did that (well, Aberdeen) recently. Grand fun, bit of an experience.

Cheers Guys - mad they dont have a direct flight - I suppose dundee is small enough
 
You could connect to a flight from London City to Dundee if thats any help but its expensive!!Dundee is a very small airport and I suppose it can only handle small aircraft.Great city btw!!

Hi Bertson, I have flown to both Glasgow & Aberdeen (Aberdeen may be a little closer to Dundee), and from there, taken a bus from the airport to the bus station (15 minutes max), and connected with the Megabus, which for the price of a few pounds will get you to Dundee and back in a couple of hours, and I thought was a pretty great service & comfortable. You do need to pre-book though at http://www.megabus.com/uk/
