Sun holiday in mid October

I am interested in going on a sun holiday in mid october. Has anyone got any recommendations for a couple?

Try any of the Canary Islands maybe Lanzarote its great for couples and climate is good that time of year.

Why don't you try Nice...Only 2 hours on plane and good weather is Sept Oct

I'm looking at this moment at an advert for Aurum Hotels.

They are offering 3* and 4* hotels, full board including wine for £200 - £263 per week including flights from Stansted.

We used them last year when we went to Ischia and enjoyed the holiday.

Further to my last, I have just looked again at the Aurom Hotels site and the price quoted does NOT include flights. Sorry about that!

Lanzarote should be ideal. Lovely island, wonderful climate, no high rise, no lager louts in October, lots to see plus take a day trip to sister island Fortaventura. We stayed in 4 star hotel near Airport, i think name was Beatrix Playa, a bit expensive but worth the pampering. Have a good holiday

went to The Algarve, last year at this time and the weather was fab. Try Alvor, its a beautiful fishing village.

Went to Nice last year, was not impressed with people...I was speaking french but they were still snotty...4 euro for coffee wherever we went and quite a lot of traffic on small streets. Went to restaurants and food wasn't great.

Place itself is nice , but would not go back for above reasons. Went to Lazarote and Fuertuventura.... more to offer in some ways if you just want a relaxing break. Get a guidebook and hire a car and you're laughing.
