Does prsi get paid on how much you earn altogether combined or is prsi contribution separate for both jobs if you work 2 jobs eg 4% on combined earnings or 4% on each job?

I am not certain about this, but if one of your employments is less than 352 euro per week then the employer must operate Class A0 on the earnings.

Class A0 is zero rated for the employee and 8.9% employer Prsi.

This employer would have no knowledge of what other employment earnings you might have. Even if they did it would be unfair on the low paying employer to subject your earnings to Class A1 as they would be forced to pay employer Prsi of 11.06% on the low wages.

If you earn less than €352 in one job as you pay no prsi. Anything over that you do. So if they are separated you don't pay on the one below €352, where as if its combined you pay 4% on the total. So it is not the same

My wife worked two employments for 18 years.
One was Class A0 the other was Class A1.
She never paid Prsi on the Class A0 employment.
