Hi all - My son is taking up a University course in the U.K. in September, could anyone recommend a U.K. bank, building society or financial institution that offer cheap/competitive rates on U.K. student loans… Thank you
 
It’s a chicken & egg situation, from my understanding to avail of U.K. grants & loans you must be a U.K. resident. So how does that work for Irish students, if they are not residents till their course starts in September, and U.K. students Ioans & grants have a closing date for application of May 20th..

Surely the college he is going to will have the relevant information? Might simply be the case of using the college as the "address" initially
