terrible return on pension

Hey

I have moved to the USA and moved my Irish pension into a managed fund with zurich life.

I have put the money into category 6 high risk (i mostly picked index funds) and based on that i am getting a return of around 5%, i can only imagine what return i would get with low risk, in comparison my 401k in the USA is currently getting me about a 10% return with the current bull stock market, and it is set to medium risk!

I am wondering is this normal for Irish pensions and where is the money going, would anyone recommend a pension provider?

Thanks

My Ugandan pension is shooting the lights out...the Ugandan stock market is flying in Ugandan Shilling terms.

whats the point in a website called "askabouotmoney" if when you do you get the piss taken out of you.

What are you invested in?

And Marc is right, currency risk is a major dampener of returns.

So am I right in thinking the
dollar performance of the Irish fund is 10%?

So it's all good?

Can you withdraw your money in dollars
