kbc closing my non resident accounts.

just had a letter from kbc bank informing me that they are closing all non resident accounts from march 18th, ive read in the irish times that they may be merging with another bank this year, can anyone post some info on this new non resident rules for banks or is this just the kbc bank only,?

KBC decision only. Each bank has different rules with regard to whether they accept non residents or not.
