I have a bank account in Ireland. I'm not in Ireland.

Can I have a friend or family member wire money from my account internationally?

With internet access, the IBAN for your account in Ireland, the destination you want the money to go to, you should have enough to do the transaction yourself via your internet connection.

Unless you have a joint account, your friends and family are not authorised to access your account nor wire money out of your account.

You can do the transfer online provided it is a transfer to a country that is in SEPA.

Other options, include ringing the bank and asking if they will accept a signed posted instruction.

Of course family can not do this. Do you not have internet banking, I do international transfers from my Irish account periodically and it's really easy.
