Anyone know of any online calculators which will compare the current APR loan rates for personal loans, across the different banks in Ireland?
We're looking into applying for a personal loan (~20-25k over 7-10 yrs) for home improvements, but clueless as to where best to apply, as it's many years since my wife or myself had any term loans with anyone. (Situation is we've no credit cards or existing loans or debt (apart from mortgage), decent salary and clean credit history). Incidentally, are banks open to non-customers applying for personal loans these days? We're with UB for 30+ years, have a tracker with them, etc. but would definitely go elsewhere to follow the best rate.)
Any advice/pointers would be appreciated.
