M50 toll liability on courtesy car

While my car was being serviced the garage gave me a courtesy car - I had the car for less than 2 days and went through the toll twice- I never thought of tolls until the weekend as I am registered with my own car and never had to think about it.
With courtesy cars is the garage liable- how do they deal with these situations?

I'd imagine by having the driver of the courtesy car walking into the garage and courteously thanking them for the car and paying the tolls.

There was an article in Sat Irish Times about this issue,the toll company chase the registered owner of the car...regardless you used the car given as a courtesy and the decent thing would be for you to ring up the garage,get the registration number and pay the toll plus outstanding fines etc.
