Did anybody else fall for the Aer lingus sale lately, Booked two seats for Malaga for 320.00 euro in the sale only to see the price drop to 240.00 euro after the sale, Its now a 50% off deal , Is this confusing or what.

Earlier this year I booked 4 flights totalling €410. There happened to be a 20% 'sale' on at the time. It turned out that the flights were €5 each so I got €1 discount per flight because of the sale, the rest was taxes, charges, handling fees etc.

How did you go about this Michael, Did you contact them by phone.

I think the point was AL advertised a 20% off sale. The discount was applied to the flight part of the ticket price (€5 in this case, so €1 discount), and not any of the taxes or additional charges. So in this 20% off sale, the original all-inclusive €103.50 price was reduced to €102.50!
