How Do I Contact Visa

I need to contact Visa about a chargeback query.

I've dialled 1800-55-8002 which is listed as the number for Ireland and chose english language and entered my card number when prompted and this was to be followed by the english pound sign but how do I enter this sign on a phone.

Whenever an automated phone system tells me to enter the "pound sign", # works instead.
 
Sorted at last. Rang the number again and chose no options till last one came up....for all other queries press..... and got to speak to a human being in India or somewhere, but it was a human.:)

Chargebacks are handled by the card issuer (i.e. AIB, AvantCard etc) directly, not by Visa - you're better off ringing the number on the back of your card.

Yup on the ball, Visa told me to contact Ulster Bank.
