I've been searching on the interwebs for a more precise image but I got lots of different pictures. Was wondering how it should look like. I have a normal laptop bag but I'm not sure they will let me pass

What kind of checkpoint, and why would they not let you past with the wrong kind of bag???

That type is only necessary if you don't want to have to take your laptop out for scanning. Otherwise you can use any bag you like.

But i can only carry 1 bag i.e luggage and nothing else. Which means I can't have two bags. Luggage and laptop bag

You're kind of confusing two separate things.

A security check lap top bag doesn't really mean anything, in Dublin certainly they ask you to take the laptop out separately anyway so you don't need to bother having a bag for the laptop itself.

Ryanair require you to have all your stuff in one bag, if your laptop bag/case can fit into your normal suitcase then fine, if it can't you won't get it on board.

Would a "sleeve" like this do?

Do you really need a separate bag/case for the laptop, will it not just fit into your suitcase?

No. It will not fit in my cabin baggage. Oh well. Maybe there's another way =/

Don't fly Ryanair ? :) - Most other airlines will allow you to take a 2nd small item of hand luggage along with a trolley case .. a small laptop bag is fine for this

The type of laptop bag you mentioned first I think is only a concept recognised by the TSA in the US - anywhere in Europe that requires laptops out requires them out of the bag whatever sort of bag it is

If you are stuck with Ryanair then either squash it into the luggage bag or stump up for their hefty baggage fees (maybe you could buy a smaller laptop .. might be cheaper than paying Ryanair for a bag at the airport!)

it only has to fit in the bag till you get on the plane, then you can take it out store in the overhead lockers separately. If you use a holdall type bag instead of a case, you'll find it easier. I have this issue all the time with Ryanair as they regard a handbag as my 1 piece of hand luggage.
