Need advice on choosing a low credit card

We're getting married in June and after exploring most avenues , we need a credit card to pay for our honeymoon (funds will be recouped after the wedding).

Preferably looking for something with 0% interest over the first few months as we will most likely cancel it once we've returned from the honeymoon and paid it off. Bank of Ireland is a no-go as I have a restructured loan there at the moment.

Can anyone recommend good 0% interest card (first few months). Also, its been a very long time since I applied for a card - what's the usual default limit on a card these days? Can you bump it up immediately (to say 3K)?

You will find it very difficult to obtain a new CC with an appropriate limit at this time. Banks are becoming very wary of new requests and without a reference from your existing Bank I see little hope of success here.
If you are confident of funds being recouped, best option is to look for a family loan over the period.

There is no guarantee you will be in funds after the wedding. Is it worthwhile getting into more financial difficulty for your honeymoon? Could you not just do a couple of nights away in Ireland and do the honeymoon when you can afford it.
