Help with Laser Card

Hi, I was assisting my partner earlier today to update direct debits etc through BOI 365 online. We were browsing the laser card transactions and noticed a few that were slightly odd. I was wondering if there was a way to check the transaction in more detail online? e.g. a purchase from a particular store on a particular date is shown, but not always the branch or area. Sometimes the full details of the store are not fully printed etc. If there is anyone who can explain the various codes e.g. "LR801" etc and what these mean another might be "PASS 25th Feb****" with another code instead of teh "*". I would presume these are store and bank machine IDs but am unsure. I wonder do they have any relevance to the place and time that the card was used? If this is corect is there a way of checking these online?...any help understanding this would be appreciated before we go to the bank directly.

From my experience of BOI statements:
the "LR801****" would usually be a Laser (LR) transaction with a transaction date of 08/01/2012 but probably posted a day or two later on the statement.
the "PASS 25th Feb****" - I actually have one "PASS 25FEB AIB 931047" which is an ATM withdrawal at the AIB Grafton Street (NSC 93-10-47). I've another "PASS 10DEC UBLUS04463" which is Ulster Bank but I can't figure the relevance of the numbers.

Thats great thx very much...any idea if I can track the branch or specific ATM from this numbers or is it a case of contacting the bank directly? I managed to track the AIB & TSB ATMs so this been a help anyway thx.

It's probably too late now, but the best way to get full details for Laser (soon to be withfrawn ?) / debit card transactions is to keep the little slip the ATM or retailer gives you; these have full details and can be matched with the rather cryptic details on the statement.

Aye we had thought about this but really its a case of looking at last years finances and tryin to figure what can be cut back etc...goin through statements for a year its hard to remember exactly when and where we withdrew money and how "necessary" it was. It doesnt make sense that TSB & AIB are so straightforward yet Ulsterbank are not. I rang Ulsterbank today and asked them if they could help make sense of things...it was like askin for this weeks lotto numbers, the guy who answered first said he did not deal with this and transferred me on to someone else, who said something similar and really either did not know or did not want to deal with me, so he in turn transferred me to some guy called Azzar who couldnt understand what I wanted, he didnt even know what country I was ringing from, after about 10 mins on the phone to him he gave me a different number that once rang was "out of service" ...bit of a pain but we'll keep trying. Thx for the suggestion anyway.
