Wondering if anyone could advise me on where would be a good location to park on Sunday. Attending the All Ireland Semi Final at Croke Park and want to be able to leave easily after the games. Travelling down to Kerry straight after so looking for easy parking to escape the mayhem !! Thanks

You could park at the Luas Park & Ride at the Red Cow and get the luas in and out of town, would save you having to navigate the city centre which can be tricky to find decent/cheap parking on a sunday.

I would recommend this as well.

Get the Luas in to Busarus and it is about a 15 minute walk to Croke Park.

Allow about 35 minutes for the Luas journey.

Am I right in thinking that a lot of people also get off at the Smithfield stop and walk up from there thus saving themselves the extra journey up to Busaras?

Coming back would be a different story. Ticket already bought and just jump on at terminus.

That never occurred to me but it makes sense.

Although Busarus or Connolly would probably be better for anyone with tickets for the Cusack stand.

Hi Dyam,
I thought Kerry people always waited for the final. Maybe you think Mayo can pull one over?

Best place to park is around the Griffith Park area at the bottom of Walsh Road - 10 minute walk from Croke Park and 5 minutes to the M50 via ballymun road - you'll be away down past the red cow before you could either get as far as the luas or have the hassle of going through town.

Just don't forget to pay your m50 toll before 8pm on the monday.

Smithfields a long walk from Croke Park - you may be confusing it with the route to Dalymount Park (wrong sport for Dyam). Connolly or Busaras are the nearest stops to Croke Park.

Ha Ha - We might just pull it off. Thanks for all your replies. Think I might stick to Red Cow and get the Luas.
