Sad to hear of the death of the Big Man at age 69.

One of the great rock 'n roll saxophonists & a hugely charismatic figure.

Is it the end of the E street band? Hard to see how they could tour without the Big Man. I really enjoyed his book "Big Man" earlier this year. Check it out.

I played Jungleland a lot over the weekend.

I caught the end of this story on the way into work thismorning on the news and I thought they said Bruce Springsteen was dead. Needless to say I nearly crashed the car. After my wife and kids I can't think of anyone I'd be more upset about dying (and the wife just shades it).

I think it was the only the second time I have seen husband slightly upset at a "celebrity" death. The last time was when Kirsty MaColl died.

Today FM were playing the track Clarence did with Jackson Browne and Ian demspey managed to announce that Jackson Browne has died.

Neither Kirsty nor Clarence were celebrities. They were both true artists.
