Can anybody please recommend a hotel close to the O2? I found a previous post that suggested Clarion IFSC & Jurys Custom House but both are booked out for the date required.

How long would it take to get from Ballsbridge to O2? Its for my parents so don't want anything too far away... would it be easy to get from one to the other?
D4 and Bewleys in Ballsbridge have a bus service to and from the O2 for all big events, I think €10 return. They both also usually have all in packages, room, dinner, transfer etc.
Also, it's not any further than city centre. Time depends on traffic 15 mins average I'd say but depends on the how busy the event is and what time it starts.

I was at the O2 in March and stayed in a hotel on Fishamble St near Christchurch. (the Harding). It was a 5 min walk to the Luas stop at the Four Courts which goes directly to the O2.
Anywhere along the luas line should be fine (although it might be very busy after the concert).
Nice one. I don't think many people know of this hotel to be honest. I have recommended it to people before when the Clarion and Jury's have been booked out and there always seems to be rooms. I haven't stayed there but have heard it is a nice hotel
