carzone: using dealer e mail facility but getting no replies.

I often check out cars on carzone for whats on offer and the spec available.

Lately I have used the "e mail the dealer" facility, with a question about a car. However I have never got a reply.

There is a security feature on the "e mail a dealer" request also, which i fill in.

Has anyone used the e mail feature and got a reply, or im i doing something wrong?
 
The last time 2 occassions I bought motors, I did. It resulted in a purchase on the first occassion although I bought through donedeal (on a private sale) second time round.

However, yes - I have had the same experience. Ireland doesn't change overnight - regardless of how big a pit we're in. I've had the same recently with a plumber who promised to turn up on a specific day - and never heard from him again (then again, I'm glad as the guy who turned up didn't overprice and was happy to get the work).

There are plenty of motors out there. Unless they are offering deal of the century, ignore and move on. They don't deserve your business.

Also be wary of scams when dealing with some online car websites. (Not necessarily the ones mentioned by OP). At the first mention of a Western Union mone transfer you should run a mile!!

Yes, came across this - when assisting someone else in find a motor. If it sounds too good to be true and all that. I contacted the website and asked them to take it down. I know most people wouldn't fall in this hole - but someone obviously does - so no harm to get it taken down for the greater good (and at least the blagger had to pay for advertising that he didn't benefit from).
 
well i thought e mailing only simi dealers on the carzone site would be the best option,but they do not reply.
