Hi folks,
just lately I have noticed a very slight creak or click, not sure how to describe, noise when the clutch has been pressed down to change gear.It does not happen every time and is not really that noticeable and there is no affect whatsover to the clutch or anything else, all is normal. The noise is from the pedal area itself. It is a noise you would not notice at all if you were not looking out for it. As the warranty expires at end of June I was thinking of getting it checked but would like some idea of what the issue may be before consulting the garage as I don't want them fiddling around unnecessarily.... thanks

just try to get some spray grease up there where the pedal pivots or else some WD 40 and work the pedal a few times, be very careful that the pedap rubber does not get slippy, clean it well after your self.

sorry, just want to clarify first where exactly the pedal pivots are, are they underneath the rubber pedal? Just trying to clarify where to spray the stuff exactly? I assume having Wd40 on the pedal lever isnt an issue when you press the clutch in, i.e its not getting onto someother part? thanks

Thanks could u just advise the type/make of grease etc please. BTW this prob disappears totally when the weather is damp, mild etc, basically normal irish weather but during dry spells the prob resurfaces!?
