I would for a multinational in Damastown (Clonee). From time to time I have visitors over from the US and China and because I live off Griffith Ave I have always recommended that they stay in Clontarf Castle because it was a) on the approved list of hotels for the company and b) it was pretty close to me so I could meet them on occasions for socialising - the feedback has always been great because they had the village beside them / could go for walks along the seafront and get a short taxi ride into town.
There are a couple coming over in mid-May and they were onto Clontarf Castle but the bloody hotel is not longer on the approved list (some dammed Procurement guy in India probably crossed them off). So I'm looking for an alternative, these guys don't want to be driving cos we drive on the wrong side of the road apparently so will be relying on taxis / lifts so I'd like somewhere not too isolated. Similarly I'd like a place that won't take them an hour to get to the office in the morning so would welcome any suggestions.
Typical budget is c. €100 per night and I'd appreciate any advice....
